With the egg, you work out a lot of new muscles which can result in aches and soreness as you are sensitizing yourself to the area, so you can feel new energy and places that you may have not been aware of before.
If the pain is really intense or continues for more than a week, we recommend checking in with your doctor to make sure that it’s not something else.
Using the egg won’t bring on anything that is dangerous or scary – it usually just brings on some soreness in early practice and new sensitivity. If you’re finding this, we suggest placing a hand on your womb or the energy of your womb, take a few deep breaths, and ask your body what is going on, and see if she has any wisdom for you and what your body is most needing.
You can also add some deep breathing and sounding which can also help you move through any stuck or stagnant energy in the practices.
