We love every single thing about what it means to be a woman and celebrate you doing this course while pregnant, as long as you’re experiencing a healthy pregnancy!

Pregnant women undergo changes to the circulatory system and respiratory systems, which may result in dizziness/lightheadedness or shortness of breath during certain practices, especially breathwork practices. Rapid changes in position may also cause lightheadedness. Be extra cautious to breathe slowly during breathwork sessions and avoid rapid or intense breathwork as outlined in the pregnancy guide.

Also, be sure to check in with yourself during any breathwork session. When changing positions, for instance sitting up after breathwork or standing up after sitting, do so slowly.

In addition, we don’t recommend doing a yoni egg practice while pregnant. The egg practices create strong hormonal shifts and cleansing. While they are great for enhancing fertility, creating balance, and healing, during pregnancy, we recommend focussing on more nourishing practices to support the mama and the growing life inside of her.
